Gabriel Ohno, Chief Executive Officer
JIA CEO Gabriel Ohno is a qualified and fully bilingual Japanese/American builder with construction experience spanning over two decades. He began his career over 15 years ago in Niigata Prefecture, with a traditional Japanese building company specializing in artisanry and fine finishes. “Attention to detail in every aspect of a construction process” was a frequently reiterated mindset amongst the ranks.
Boasting high levels of speed and accuracy in comparison to competitors, the company was affiliated with public development companies on the main island of Japan, and has been involved with the construction and management of large scale projects such as National Park infrastructure. A large number of civic and private projects were also completed during this time, which included equipment, recreational facilities, schools, museums, and hotel renovations & restorations; along with ship fit outs & repairs, bridge and dam restoration, and a variety of Western and Japanese-style homes, restaurant fit outs, and galleries.
